This garment was a commission for a friend of mine, Cole Walters. Cole is non-binary meaning they go by they/them pronouns. When discussing what kind of garment they would like, Cole stated that they wanted something that would make them feel beautiful.
Because they have a more masculine figure, Cole wanted something that would give them a softer, more feminine feel. I did so by creating more volume at the top and bottom to create the illusion of an hourglass figure.
This look is made from an iridescent taffeta. We wanted a fabric that shifted color and could have structure but still maintain a flow.
