This project was to create a garment that depicted the slow deterioration of nature in NYC. Inspired by the trash on the street of New York and the limited greenery in the city, this dress is a visual representation of the loss of nature.
The fabric is hand-dyed using a sustainable fruit dying method. The fabric flowers are made from recycled fabric.
